Action de celui qui prend furtivement ou par force la chose d'autrui, pour se l'approprier. Un vol de grand chemin. Vol avec effraction. Vol domestique. Vol de nuit. Vol à main armée. Il a commis plusieurs vols. Être complice d'un vol.   Il signifie aussi, La chose volée. On l'a trouvé saisi du vol. Il avait caché son vol. J'ai recouvré mon vol. Recéleur d'un vol.
